This flower study was probably Knighton-Hammond amusing himself in his studio in later life. He has taken one of his third wife's arrangements, disturbed it by removing a few flowers and placing them on the table in front of the vase to make it less formal. The flowers are well painted and there is disposition of space between the blossoms.
