This flower study is full of intense light and clarity. Knighton-Hammond enjoyed having flower arrangements in his studio, normally set up by his third wife and then dishevelled by the artist to lose the formality. The clusters of flowers clearly have a disposition of space within the arrangement. A very clever depiction of Margaritas.
