Street in Old Town, San Remo was exhibited at the Beaux Art Gallery in London in 1924. The exhibition was entitled 'Venice and the Riviera' and received much attention as amongst the visitors were Queen Mary, Sir Joseph Duveen, Prince Nicholas and other members of the Greek Royal Family. The picture is framed through an arch and the street is lined with tall buildings. The people are busy going about their business in street. The figures have great movement and colour.
