Waterloo Bridge is a combination of river and sky with the bridge and adjacent buildings at the intersection. There are boats in the moorings. The cloud study was of great interest and Knighton-Hammond studied the cloud studies of John Constable at the Tate. He was adept at the rapid notation required in capturing the ever changing sky.
